mall playground

we escaped to the mall play area today after a rough patch at home. i did not even know this existed six months ago, but as webb becomes increasingly mobile i think it will be a life saver! today was particularly sweet and peaceful as when we arrived not a single other kid was there. webb ran wild while i sank into a cushy rubber seat and sipped on a latte.

Happy Halloween

we joined our neighbors for halloween festivities this year, with webb sporting the above lion costume. thanks to miller for sharing such an awesome outfit! despite the rain and one wriggling and very active lion, we managed to pass out a couple pieces of candy and have a good time. i purchased andes mints (my fav) for our bag of treats, which got several "what is this" comments from the kids. maybe it's an adult candy? Roar.
